Sara Nichols is a seasoned executive search leader with a proven track record of driving organizational success over the last two decades. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Human Resources at HNI Workplace Furnishings, where she played a pivotal role in supporting the multibillion-dollar company’s outward-facing brands. She used her expertise to effectively recruit the industry’s top talent in addition to enhancing company performance and culture.

In her current role at Stiles Associates, she’s responsible for full-cycle recruitment needs assessment, search strategy, profile development, research, candidate development and offer negotiation in the private equity, manufacturing and healthcare spaces.

Her earlier career included Human Resources stops at Wahl Clipper leading the North American team; Whirlpool, where she was an integral member of senior leadership for a 3,400-person plant; and Rockwell Collins as the Site Leader providing operational and strategic guidance.

In the variety of hats she wore in her HR roles, she especially enjoyed working on recruiting key leadership positions. Her in-depth knowledge and unique understanding of position requirements, candidate development and organizational culture have made her skilled in finding A-level leaders for her organizations.

When she’s not leading senior-level search assignments, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad, three active kids and their golden retriever named Chip.
