Vice President, Operations -- Southeast (Closed)

The company provides consulting, interim staffing and outsourced processing services to higher education clients.

THE POSITION

The VP, Operations will help transform the business by enhancing current services and operationalizing new ones. This role will be responsible for maximizing the company’s human talent in order to achieve the business strategy. The VP, Operations Lean process experience and business acumen, combined with its industry subject matter experts, will form a powerful business operations team to position our client as the unmatched leader in the space.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee operations to ensure efficiency, quality service and cost-effective use of resources.
  • Utilize Lean process improvement and digital transformation to improve team member productivity and service delivery while maintaining industry-leading compliance standards.
  • Provide leadership to the entire organization in the pursuit of operational excellence to drive growth; scale high client value; and achieve optimum efficiency, profitability and compliance.
  • Lead talent acquisition to enable accelerated growth of current and newly introduced services.
  • Establish, track, and utilize KPIs to proactively identify opportunities to maximize operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to ensure services continue to meet evolving market needs and own the execution of the service development roadmap to maintain and grow the company’s competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to ensure all operational processes are in full compliance with the Department of Education (ED) regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on financial forecasts, capacity planning and budget management to ensure alignment to the company’s strategic goals and mission.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven success in assessing service processes and utilizing Lean / Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience building and scaling teams and systems that achieved strategic operating plans.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing an effective performance management system to drive measurable performance across the organization.
  • Ten-plus years of experience in operations management.
