THE POSITION
The Vice President is responsible for the overall business unit operations, and has the mission to maximize operations efficiency and customer loyalty while maintaining world-class performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of operations and plant leaders to consistently deliver forecasted production output based on business unit commitments.
- Responsible for revenue attainment, inventory management, cost containment, budgeting and development of manufacturing and distribution strategy.
- Champion continuous process improvements through the company’s production system across all aspects of operations, production, assembly, quality and facilities management.
- Achieve and maintain a safe work environment that meets ISO, OSHA and environmental requirements.
- Maintain a strong sustainable relationship with strategic customers by keeping commitments, reinforcing quality and driving innovation.
- Develop the annual plan and forecasts that are broken down into specific objectives and measures in alignment with overall business objectives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly skilled and experienced Lean operations leader with strong enterprise level TPM systems experience.
- Strategic thought partner with in-depth personal knowledge of the application of CI programs to drive asset reliability, loss elimination and optimal system cost position.
- Must demonstrate a track record of successfully meeting or exceeding organizational performance targets.
- Strategic acumen with ability to consider the broader business challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline.
- Fifteen to 20-plus years of manufacturing experience and 10-plus years in a multi-site leadership position.
