THE POSITION

Create an HR organization to help our client on its Lean transformation to achieve the motto of “Be the best.”

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s Lean transformation and overall business objectives.
  • Manage and oversee all HR functions including compliance, payroll, benefits, recruiting, performance management and HRIS / Paycom data management.
  • Partner with senior management to ensure HR practices support business goals and a positive work environment.
  • Facilitate a positive work environment through employee recognition programs.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Manage employee performance reviews, improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • Administer 401(k) benefits and employee wage garnishments.
  • Research and partner with benefits groups to enhance employee benefit programs.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance, manage accident reviews, return-to-work programs and enhance safety programs in partnership with Risk Management.
  • Implement and manage the its leadership development program (VLDP) to build operations leadership capability in support of Lean transformation.
  • Manage the HR departmental budget and seek opportunities to reduce costs.
