We seek a senior business development professional who is eager to join a well-respected boutique search firm poised for growth. This individual will play a significant role in the firm’s profitable growth efforts by identifying and building out new services that dovetail with our current business that will be deemed as value added by our customers. We expect that this individual will contribute to business expansion within our current customer base as well as expand the firm’s market share through the addition of new clients in strategic market segments.
As a continuous improvement focused search firm, we’d like to expand our internal team with an executive that is knowledgeable in transformational work, has developed business in these markets and has broad relationships across numerous industries.
Stiles Associates has, from its founding, operated as a team. We’re looking for an individual that is comfortable in and has a track record of adding value in this type of environment. We’re a process-oriented organization with an eye for continuous improvement.
One of our greatest achievements has been in growing and sustaining our client relationships. Our repeat/referral rate is in excess of 80%. The Vice President will have responsibility for developing and managing client relationships and ensuring that we deliver excellent service on every client engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working across multiple industries and functional areas while possessing an entrepreneurial spirit with a demonstrated willingness to take calculated risks.
- A minimum of five years in a business development or consulting practice and a minimum of 15 years of overall experience. Must demonstrate a track record of business development with both new and existing clients.
- A minimum of five years in a management-level industry position (manufacturing or service).
- Managing clients and deliverables. This is a hands-on position that requires individuals who know how to get results.
- Ambition to establish self-sufficiency.
- An ability and record of working independently of supervision.
- Preferred: Senior-level experience in industry at one of our major functions (Operations, Finance, Sales, Human Resources).
- Preferred: MBA
