Supply Planner

Our client is a leading personal care brand.
THE POSITION
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and procurement of finished goods from contract manufacturers with a focus on product availability to meet customer demand while maintaining a prudent level of inventory at cost and capacity. This role will specialize in the planning of our special packs variants from planning and procuring the manufacturing of work in progress components to re-packing of finished goods at co-packers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Develop and manage the rolling supply plan based on latest demand plan, inventory levels, supply chain and sourcing variables.
- Issue and manage production orders and inventory deployment with established contract manufacturers for finished goods, promotional display materials and WIP. Prioritize orders for new launch, promotional and major SKUs.
- Manage contractor invoicing and billing to ensure validity.
- Communicate to key stakeholders the potential risks to the supply plan.
- Work with all cross-functional teams including demand planning, marketing, sales, R&D and contract manufacturers to ensure alignment with new product development timing, capacity planning and replenishment orders.
- Monitor aggregate inventory units and COGS at Case and pallet locations for capacity planning.
- Provide a monthly production plan by Product Line in units and cost of goods for incorporating into the monthly S&OP Management review.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance or business-related field; master's degree a plus.
- At least five years of experience in operations or supply chain with a minimum of two years in supply planning and procurement.
- Experience in planning special packs variants and co-packing process.
- Experience in the consumer goods industry is strongly preferred.
