THE POSITION

The Scientist will be working on ensuring flawless execution of new product innovations or product enhancements, tech transfer of existing products and reformulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In partnership with external suppliers, design; optimize; and implement manufacturing and filling processes across a variety of product forms.
• Support the transfer of production from previous sites to new external manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot issues in production, as needed.
• Enable the launch of new products by acting as an advisor for the Head of Formulation and Head of Packaging as new project briefs are being defined.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost-savings purposes.
• Track the performance of manufacturing sites capability to anticipate and prevent future non-conformances.
• Maintain partnerships with the external sites in combination with the Quality & Regulatory Director.
• Draft and execute peer reviewed manuscripts and tech reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Three to 10 years of proven experience with B.S. or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience with MS preferably in consumer goods, cosmetics or related field.
• Understand formulation technology and chemical science.
• Understand GxPsand FDA Compliance requirements.
• Ability to partner effectively across a diverse set of business partners and customers to deliver key results in a timely manner.
• Entrepreneurial; owner mentality, willing to be hands-on and contribute as one team.
