THE POSITION

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of the company's goals and initiatives. With a highly engaged, servant leader approach to management, the individual will direct all functions including sales, marketing, finance, human resources, legal, manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain functions. The CEO will provide a strategic vision for the organization and oversee the continued growth in terms of top line (organic and M&A) and EBITDA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the organization through its next wave of growth and market expansion by creating a vision for the future in new products, categories and channel strategies.
  • Continue to develop and model the core values, purpose and guiding principles that have been so crucial to our client's success, specifically using the Lean Management System to align, enable and continuously improve the operations.
  • Most importantly, this individual will be wired to “go see” and understand the importance of engaging where the work happens.
  • Create cascading goals and objectives for the business and each functional area.
  • Set priorities, assign ownership and hold teams accountable for process and outcomes. Drive a sense of urgency based on data-driven decision making.
  • Provide oversight for the overall administration, coordination and execution of the company’s business activities and clearly communicate plans and progress to the board of directors and private equity partners.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of executive leadership experience. Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar executive role with similar size, scope and complexity is preferred.
  • Strong Lean thinker ideally familiar with the Shingo model for transformation.
  • Experience working in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • Experience leading organizations to establish world-class functional performance in areas including NPI, product lifecycle management and strategic channel management.
  • Demonstrated experience with M&A, including due diligence and integration.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
