Our client is a wine producer.
THE POSITION
This role is the first head of technology position within the company. It’s a highly process-driven organization with important technology solutions to address many of the issues commonplace within the industry. It currently outsources general IT needs with a strong partner, and the heavy needs in the traditional IT Director sphere are based around the strategy for, development of, and execution around its data infrastructure and transmission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Constantly explore and keep it on the leading edge of available solutions and services to drive competitive advantages.
- Provide strong leadership to the technology team, including the data engineer, reporting analyst, ERP consultants, IT consultants and other technical professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence, empowering team members to achieve their full potential.
- Provide oversight particularly to the CEO and President on the design, development, and deployment of software solutions. Lead, drive and support technology-driven solutions and projects across the company.
- Develop and manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and operational needs. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, logistics, customer service, marketing and sales teams, to understand business requirements and priorities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, solicit feedback and align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
SALARY RANGE
$185,000 ¬— $200,000
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Seven to 10 years of experience managing, capacity planning, maintaining and supporting physical and virtualized environments.
- Proven experience working with data centers, closely engaging/working with third party vendors and integrations.
- Success in project management of complex and medium-term projects.
- Management of vendors for support agreements and managed services for infrastructure, including procurement, license management and SLA monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership.
