THE POSITION

The Divisional President will drive organizational change – aligning people, processes and products – that deliver the strategic plan and timeline set in partnership with the holding company and the Board of Directors. This will include developing and supporting strategic direction, priorities and roadmaps that drive revenue expansion with new and existing customers through a relentless focus on customer service and operational excellence while achieving profitable growth for the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create a safety first and strong culture across all levels of the organization with a spirit of continuous improvement toward the goal of an incident-free workplace.
  • Deliver against financial targets (including earnings and free cash flow generation, net working capital and ROI on capital expenditures).
  • Own development and achievement of financial forecasts.
  • Create a culture of trust, accountability, servant leadership, collaboration and continuous improvement across all functional areas.
  • Develop, upgrade and lead a best-in-class diverse team.
  • Foster a trusting, inclusive and collaborative teamwork; and provide guidance, coaching and feedback while holding talent accountable at all levels.
  • Lead the growth strategy with a primary focus on key customer relationships while creating / aligning the organization culture and company infrastructure to exceed targets for revenue and EBITDA.
  • Project a presence and personality that inspires confidence and earns respect from all employees.
  • A hands-on executive with the demeanor, business maturity and intellect required to establish immediate credibility and earn the respect of employees and customers while leading by example.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering; an MBA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 years of executive leadership experience with demonstrated P&L success. Experience working in small-to-mid-market manufacturing organizations, with some experience in consumer products being preferred but not required.
  • Led previous continuous improvement transformations in a manufacturing organization.
  • A track record of successfully applying a variety of operational excellence competencies such as Policy Deployment, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, One-piece Flow, 5S, Kaizen, etc.
