THE POSITION
The Director will play a pivotal role in the planning, executing and management of strategic cross-functional transformational projects and integrations within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
- Define project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues as they arise.
- Ensure project deliverables meet the defined quality standards and requirements.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project status updates and reports.
- Assign and manage project resources efficiently, ensuring their productivity and performance.
- Effectively manage and communicate changes in project scope, schedule and objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports and other relevant records.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors and other stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, project management, supply chain, operations, etc.); PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 15 years managing projects in a fast-paced consumer goods, personal care, beauty or manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated responsibility for ensuring data integrity in systems, supporting software implementations, coordinating data information flow, setting benchmarks and constantly looking for ways to reduce costs or improve lead times.
