THE POSITION

This position will be responsible for the material planning and procurement, scheduling, inventory and warehouse operations for the entire operation. The successful candidate will have direct impact in supporting the nation’s critical electric infrastructure during a period of strong growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the factories S&OP process. Integrate the sales forecast into a balanced production plan that incorporates all functions requirements and constraints. Ensure that long-range decisions are made in time to affect the desired outcomes.
  • Develop and monitor the execution of the materials resourcing plan. Ensure that material is available on time to production by developing an effective Plan for Every Part and driving strong execution of the procurement process.
  • Effectively manage the load for all lines of production. Activities include master planning, detailed scheduling, capacity management and execution monitoring.
  • Develop and execute the inventory plan to support the factory goals. Drive inventory accuracy through strong controls and develop improvements in material delivery methods.
  • Manage the logistic planning and execution of all shipments in and out of the facility. Develop strong controls to facilitate high turnover while managing within budget.
  • Drive process improvements throughout the materials organization. For all variances to planned execution, drive root cause / countermeasure activities. Lead Kaizens as needed to eliminate waste and improve processes.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of operations and / or materials management experience.
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work.
  • APICS certification.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
