THE POSITION
The mission of the Human Resource Director is to develop, implement and support programs and processes that add value to the company and its employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect core HR processes compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc., to support growth and culture.
- Champion employee-driven components by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development.
- Design and build out the HR department through strategic and collaborative efforts with upper management to assure alignment with company goals and outcomes.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
- Manage grievances and violations, invoking disciplinary action when required.
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
- Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.
- Spearhead training and leadership programs within management and teams to develop a people-centric environment.
- Lean HR methodology to continuously work toward eliminating redundancy and waste in HR processes and service delivery.
- Change management abilities coupled with experience of ground floor department buildout.
SALARY RANGE:
$130,000 -- $160,000
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibilities and leadership in a Human Resources department.
- Proven experience in HR, including development of processes in all areas of Human Resources.
- Self-driven to work independently and to be the SME with leadership.
- Fluid understanding of organizational development.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting; fluent with Microsoft products.
- Bachelor’s in human resources, business administration or relevant field; master’s in human resources will be a plus.
