Director of Executive Search -- Full-time / contract

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary focus of this role will be executing searches by identifying on-spec candidates, writing reports, utilizing strong communication skills, having a sense of urgency and handling capacity.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Assignment research and candidate sourcing (database searching, LinkedIn sourcing, etc.)
  • Target candidate outreach (phone and digital)
  • Candidate screening (phone and virtual)
  • Write candidate reports
  • Participate in all client meetings and calls
  • Keep files up to date in the Assignment tracking system
  • Provide regular updates to the Assignment leader and Partners
  • Provide weekly updates to clients
  • Lead and support offer negotiations
  • Conduct candidate referencing interviews.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of five (5) years in a retained search organization and a minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a management position (manufacturing or service)
  • Must have experience in managing assignments and deliverables. This is a hands-on position that requires individuals who know how to get results
  • Self-starter who’s highly effective working on their own
  • Creative thinker who can overcome typical barriers found in recruiting
  • Enjoys speaking over the phone
  • Must be process oriented
  • An ability and record of working without supervision
  • Highly articulate with strong communication skills
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience supporting C-level searches with a process-driven recruiting approach in the manufacturing industry and / or private equity environments
  • Senior-level experience in industry at one of the major functions (Operations, Marketing, Finance, Sales)
  • Bachelor’s degree or in the process of obtaining one
  • Recruiting experience in any industry, preferably at an agency or a performance-driven in-house setting
