THE COMPANY

Our client is a metal fabrication and weldments manufacturer.

THE POSITION

The role will be accountable for achieving performance milestones through leadership of four core value stream departments: Quality Assurance, Logistics, Production Fabrication, Purchasing and Project Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes, codifies, implements, and measures processes and process controls around the five pillars: safety, quality, cost, schedule and employee engagement.
  • Leads, manages and holds the team accountable for achieving certain commitments.
  • Coaches, inspires and breaks down silos across the organization.
  • From an operational viewpoint, defines “Where we are” and “Where we want to go.” Sets the vision and develops the plan to achieve the vision.
  • Runs day-to-day operations with an obsession for organizational clarity and effective communication.
  • Develops, manages and leads to an Operating Plan.
  • Leads with a focus on organizational excellence, individual excellence and a culture of respect and openness.
