Our client is a private equity owned food service equipment distributor.
THE POSITION
The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of the company’s goals and initiatives. With a hands-on approach to management, this person will direct all commercial and operational functions including sales, marketing, manufacturing, quality, engineering and supply chain. The CEO has the opportunity to further professionalize and develop the business with the expectation of continuing its growth both in top line (organic and through M&A) and EBITDA.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong commercial sales and marketing experience within a private equity setting.
- Strong leadership and change agent skillset for a distribution business.
- Focus on customer service and client relationship management.
- Turnaround and M&A experience.
- Exceptional focus on people and cultural transformation.
- Experience managing full P&L as a CEO, GM or President is required.
- Strong financial acumen and metrics orientation is crucial.
- Extensive senior-level sales (commercial business development and customer service) background coupled with a strong sense of urgency and operations leadership experience.
- Senior-level leadership experience in creating and growing a sales funnel.
- Must be comfortable within a smaller organization and have a hands-on style.
- Experience within an equipment distribution space.
- Exceptional leadership skills capable of influencing decisions at all levels of the organization. Demonstrate a successful track record of teaching, mentoring and the overall development of employees.
