Position Summary
This is a key quality leadership position within a growing multi-plant organization, reporting directly to the VP of Manufacturing. This position will require an experienced Lean Six Sigma manufacturing leader, preferably with a background in world-class chemical finishing processes. This position requires a manufacturing leader that is able to drive process improvement and product continuous improvement internally and externally with customers, leveraging his/her strong interpersonal and technical skills. Key to success in this position is the ability to leverage Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvements in the anodizing processes while developing a team-oriented lean culture.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical degree from an accredited university.
• 5-10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressive increasing in responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and decision making abilities along with skills in scheduling and planning production tasks.
• Knowledge in the use and application of key quality tools (DOE, SPC, FMEA, 8D, etc.).
• Ability to implement ISO/TS and Lean Manufacturing methodologies in a manufacturing department.
Preferred Experience:
• Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Additional leadership experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Quality.
• Financial/budgeting experience on a departmental P&L level.
• Chemical Engineering degree.
