Project/Process Engineer - Mid-Atlantic

Description

The company employs over 3,800 people worldwide and has a presence in fifteen countries over four continents.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of four years experience in a manufacturing operation with demonstrated experience implementing automation projects to reduce costs and improve quality.

• Strong experience in management of projects from concept to full production. Specific experience in plant startups and equipment installation is required.

• Auto Cad - Conceptualize, design and prepare detail CAD drawings and/or schematics of a mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and general arrangement nature, including material lists for major projects such as expansion of facilities, acquisition and installation of capital equipment, major repairs, and plant layout changes.

• Electrical – Possess sufficient electrical knowledge and experience to specify electrical apparatus and switchgear for a typical manufacturing plant and processes.

• PLC – Possess sufficient PLC programming knowledge and experience to direct and supervise a PLC programmer or equipment supplier technician.
• Automation &/or Robotics - training and experience with studying manual processes and implementing automation and/or robotic replacement of labor or improving quality issues.

In addition, the following experience is preferred:

• Process Experience – knowledge and experience with the following processes would be very beneficial: metal casting technologies, metal finishing and coatings, vision systems.
