Project/Process Engineer - Mid-Atlantic
Description

Experience Required:
Bachelors degree (B.S.) in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of four years experience in a manufacturing operation with demonstrated experience implementing automation projects to reduce costs and improve quality.
Strong experience in management of projects from concept to full production. Specific experience in plant startups and equipment installation is required.
Auto Cad - Conceptualize, design and prepare detail CAD drawings and/or schematics of a mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and general arrangement nature, including material lists for major projects such as expansion of facilities, acquisition and installation of capital equipment, major repairs, and plant layout changes.
Electrical Possess sufficient electrical knowledge and experience to specify electrical apparatus and switchgear for a typical manufacturing plant and processes.
PLC Possess sufficient PLC programming knowledge and experience to direct and supervise a PLC programmer or equipment supplier technician.
Automation &/or Robotics - training and experience with studying manual processes and implementing automation and/or robotic replacement of labor or improving quality issues.
In addition, the following experience is preferred:
Process Experience knowledge and experience with the following processes would be very beneficial: metal casting technologies, metal finishing and coatings, vision systems.
