The organization is five years into its Lean journey and looking to move to the next level with this critical hire.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or Business.
• 8-10 years work experience required including 5–8 years supervisory/management experience with direct departmental budget responsibility.
• Several years relevant experience in leading Lean/Continuous Improvement change initiatives. Experience with A3 and defining department goals and objectives utilizing Hoshin Kanri or similar process is ideal.
• Strong project management skills to successfully plan and implement large scale projects. Experience leading and directing multiple collaborative teams for large projects or groups both internal and external and across functional areas.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively in writing to all levels of staff, management and external customers across functional areas.
• Ability to lead operational initiatives to meet or exceed customer service standards and expectations in assigned unit(s) and/or across multiple areas in a timely and respectful manner.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis and maintain databases.
Preferred Experience
• Master’s degree preferred
• Previous experience in healthcare operations preferred.
