Enterprise Lean Champion - Midwest

Description

Our client is one of the largest processed food manufacturers.

The Position

Primary responsibility will be to champion and lead all enterprise Lean activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. The position will provide needed oversight and training in all areas of Lean methodology and will act as a key driver of change within each of the business units supporting all functions throughout the company’s Lean transformation.

Position Requirements:

• The candidate we seek will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Technical discipline.

• The candidate we seek will have 10-15 years professional work experience with a minimum of seven (7) years management experience with at least five (5) years experience as an organization’s dedicated Lean leader.

• Demonstrated, continuous results as a leader in a Lean environment.

• Strong analytical background with process focus.

• Proficiency with all software tools….Visio and all Microsoft Office tools. BPCS LX and PKMS experience a plus.

• Must enjoy working with people at all levels within the organization. Also, must enjoy seeing others grow and learn in a manufacturing and corporate environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate team and others, maintaining a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of the organization.
